● CSB-FWB® bearing material uses high-strength glass fiber reinforced high temperature epoxy resin as the bearing layer and special fiber and PTFE fiber as the sliding layer, which makes the bearing have excellent wear resistance and low under high load and low speed conditions The coefficient of friction can still play a good self-lubricating characteristics and high bearing load even if no oil is added for a long time.

Bearing friction coefficient

The friction coefficient of the wound bearing is 0.03 to 0.12. The main factors affecting the friction coefficient are load, movement mode, speed, and surface roughness of the matching shaft. Figure 1 shows that the friction coefficient of a wound bearing under PV rotation load decreases with increasing load.

Wear of bearings

The factors affecting bearing wear include load bearing, movement mode, speed, and surface roughness of the matching shaft, etc. Figure 2 illustrates the wear of the wound bearing during rocking motion at 50 MPa load and room temperature. According to the chart, we can see that the bearings wear quickly in the initial time. During this time, the lubricant in the lining is gradually transferred to the matching shaft and uniformly distributed in the movement direction, thereby forming a smooth friction surface. Maintains a stable, non-wearing phase for a long time.
